Talking Beat the heat with ice cream!

~What are your favorite toppings for an ice cream sundae?
My favorite sundae is dark chocolate ice cream with bananas, coconut and pineapple. ~

Wow that sounds really good. We have rootbeer floats sometimes. I'm afraid we're not very adventurous. xD

Not much of an ice cream person, but it's gotta be caramel or butterscotch on a sundae.

But chocolate chip cookie dough needs no topping.

I have always been partial to banana splits:

Chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream, hot fudge on the vanilla, strawberries on the strawberry and marshmallow on the chocolate. Hold the whipped cream and nuts.

    Dusty Road Sundae

Vanilla ice cream topped with Hershey's syrup, a dusting of malt, fresh whipped cream and a cherry.

I used to have a friend ( God rest his soul) who ran an ice cream shop and he would sell me bags of malt powder at wholesale.

    SWISS CHOCOLATE ALMOND SUNDAE
Made with scoops of Vanilla, Chocolate and Coffee, velvety Swiss chocolate sauce, covered with whipped topping and chopped almonds.

A friendly's employee let me in on the secret Swiss chocolate sauce. It's marshmallow fluff with just a bit of hershey's syrup mixed in. Just till it's a very light brown in color.

And like Palooka, butterscotch or caramel

I've become quite fond of the hot fudge sundae at McD's - how sad is that? At least it keeps my portions down!!

~It's not at all sad Maui! They're tasty and priced decently. I'm partial to the caramel nut though. ~

Hot fudge, oreos, nuts, and a crushed up sugar cone. Especially good on mocha or coffee ice cream!
