Default Cranberry Recipe Needed for Thanksgiving

I am looking for a cranberry relish recipe. I bought the jellied cranberry sauce without the whole cranberries and have decided to dress it up a bit.

Here's the problem: I do not have a recipe to turn Jellied Cranberry Sauce into a relish.

    Can anyone help me?

Take a cup of fresh cranberries, sort through them for bad ones and then put them in a small saucepan. Add about a quarter cup of water and start to cook them on low/medium heat. Don't let them dry out. When the berries pop, add your canned jellied sauce. It will melt down and mix with the cooked berries. Taste for sugar. It might need some, or you might like it a little tart.

This can be done in advance and refrigerated for several days.

You can also use orange juice instead of water to cook them in.
