Cooking anything today?
Hello - I'm a new old member - signed up in 2002 and am back again. I love to cook and bake on Sundays. It's fun to hear what everyone else is up to as well.
Today the only thing I'm making is a zucchini ziti for dinner (and leftovers for Tuesday night). Maybe I'll find a muffin recipe to make for breakfasts this week.
What are you cooking or baking today?

Welcome back! We had our family Thanksgiving dinner last night and we made stock this morning from the carcass. Wanted to get it off the bones before garbage day which is tomorrow.
Later we'll be making dough for pizza.

I made tacos for lunch for all the kiddos....I'll be making a big batch of chicken noodle soup for dinner, and possibly a quick bread(banana or pumpkin) later on...I already have a zucchini bread that I took out of the freezer to eat as dessert for dinner.

I'm making round steak and gravy in the crockpot. Mashed potatoes, corn, salad, biscuits and a cake or pie for dessert. DH is not feeling well and I wanted to fix him a nice Sunday supper.

Welcome back to FV, ballylarkin!
I usually spend at least part of each Sunday cooking and/or baking, too. Yesterday, I made a pot roast and slow-roasted the last of our red tomatoes (here's hoping all the green ones I harvested eventually ripen, too).
I had also planned to make pesto (need to harvest that basil before it freezes) and bake some bread, but we got invited out to dinner and I ran out of time.

Lunch was an Asian style rice bowl with a lemongrass flavored rice, with left over roast beef and a slew of Asian veggies from the freezer. Dinner was leftover hot and sour soup from the local Chinese restaurant - good and inexpensive - and meat dumplings with sour cream - yeah, indulgent, but I had a shitty day.
