Sadly, your link doesn't work. Can you post it again?

I do a very similar recipe, which I love as well. The only difference between the mine and the link is that my recipe doesn't have any eggs - just the canned corn, creamed corn, corn muffin mix, sour cream and butter.

It cooks up just fine without the eggs and is delicious fresh and leftover - I'm allergic to eggs, but my Mom makes it the same way even though she doesn't have to.

My mom has made this since I was a kid. Her recipe is the same as yours, but she adds half a cup of sugar. I usually use a scant 1/3 cup in mine, and a couple pinches of black pepper.

    It's one of our favorites!

I've had it with cheese, bell peppers, jalapenos, green chilies in varying combinations but the plain basic one my mom made is still my favorite!

I made this for Thanksgiving, and I should have doubled it. People were disappointed they couldn't go back for seconds!

    Ingredients

1 1/4 (16 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tablespoon white sugar
    salt and pepper to taste

    Directions

1.In a slow cooker, combine corn, cream cheese, butter, milk, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
2.Cook on High for 2 to 4 hours, or on Low for 4 to 6 hours.

Starting Over, that sounds delicious. I have a seven qt. oval crockpot, should I reduce the cooking time some? There are only three of us, so I do not need to double the recipe.

    Thanks for sharing!

I think you can reduce the cooking time. I didn't double my recipie either and I cooked it on low for about 3 hrs. I kept tasting it until I felt it tasted "just right".

I hope you & your family enjoy it! I've had several family members ask for the recipie...
