Flavor the meat mixture and make meat pie I use refrigerator biscuit rolled out filled and folded in half.
Browned meat, shredded coleslaw mix, garlic, ginger and soy , cooked down and then put into egg roll wrappers for egg rolls or in wonton and use for wonton soup, fried wontons.
Browned meat, brown sugar a shot of ustard and a 1/4 cup ketchup makes sloppy joes.
Browned meat , onion soup in can and put on buns with relish and mustard, makes super burger.
Browned meat with a white gravy (almost like sausage gravy)
Serve on biscuits
There is also a seasoning mix for kebabs in the Indian spices this makes really tasty meat kabobs

Oh, some great ideas here.
thanks for asking McD.......you helped me out too.
I am always up for a hamburger "change"......my usual 'go to' is either taco soup in the crock(h.b./beans/tomatoes/corn) ...........or tacos.........don't think I would ever hit burn out on tacos as I change up the fillings according to what I have on hand.

Great Thread starter...McD~!
It gave me a couple of good ideas. ~
Tonight I'm making stuffed peppers, only I don't precook the meat. Mix it with spices and rice..stuff the peppers, and then cook them on the stovetop with some tomato sauce or puree....at least an hour until the peppers get soft.
Leftovers make GREAT stuffed pepper Soup~!

Hmmm...I'd make some dip...ground beef (or sausage or both), block of velveeta, and can of rotel all mixed together. YUMMY dip...serve w/ nacho type chips. This is such a heavy dip I could eat it as a meal. Not exactly healthy...but great football food.
If you don't have rotel sub salsa...works just as well I've found.

[QUOTE=brenda67;1599194]I just made this recipe last week and the family loves it..
Burrito Pie... QUOTE]
That sounds really good, I'm going to give it a try.
This is my easy go-to meal for ground meat (though I'm more likely to have ground turkey than beef):
Enchilada Casserole
1 lb ground meat
2 cans tomato soup
2 cans mushroom soup
1/2 jar salsa
12 corn tortillas
grated cheddar cheese
Brown meat. Drain fat. Add soups and salsa, mix well. Tear tortillas into about 6 pieces each and mix in. Pour into 9x13 pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle top with grated cheese; place back in oven until melted. The recipe can be cut in half and cooked in an 8x8 or 9x9.
DD likes things really spicy, so I'll often throw jalapeno slices and/or a few dashes of tabasco sauce in there as well. You can also spice it up by choosing medium or hot salsa.

Ground beef stroganoff. (over noodles)
Your fave stroganoff recipe.... substitute ground beef for the cubed beef. My Mom used to make it all the time.
Nice thing is...you can do it in the CP. (except for the noodles)______

Asian Lettuce wraps (or over salad)
Sauce:
3 Tbs. oj concentrate
1 Tbs each sugar, rice wine vinegar
1/4 tsp sesame oil and a pinch of red pepper flake
Pour all in blender. (I use a whisk in my 2cup measure).
Wraps:
1 cup cooked wild and brown rice mix
8 oz ground beef (or pork)
1 Tbs each minced garlic and ginger
1 red pepper, sliced thin
6 scalliions, sliced thin
2 Tbs hoisin sauce
Make rice. Cook beef, garlic, ginger 3 minutes. Add pepper strips and cook 1 minute more. Remove from heat, add scallions and hoisin, stir in rice.
You can use butter lettuce leaves as wraps, or just toss over a green salad with sprouts. Drizzle with sauce.
This is so yummy, and makes great leftovers!!Vermont has two seasons: Wintah and the Fourth of July.
