I'm thinking I would like something that isn't tooo adventurous (no live lobsters!) but is frugal and fairly healthy.

Would anyone else like to join me in this challenge once the cookbook is decided?
instead of doing that may i suggest you watch great chefs everyday and learn real cooking techniques. i think it would be better time spent than a betty crocker cookbook.

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

    Default Jamie Oliver

Can I suggest Jamie Oliver's 30 minutes meals. Not sure how to do the picture thing of his book. But he has wonderful food, that seriously does only take 30 minutes and it is all very tasty and yummy - definetly no live lobsters!
