Question Are there prepackaged foods that you just can't give up???

I was thinking about this and realize that as much as I would like to get away from canned goods and prepackaged foods, there are some that I have come to rely on. Here are a few that I can think of off hand:
    canned vegis
canned fruit (the varieties that I don't have growing here at home)
    mayonaise
    canned tomatoes
    potato flakes
    some seasoning mixes
    fruit juices
    ketchup
    bullion cubes

I know there are many more but I'm not thinking really clearly at the moment!

mac & cheese- fav since childhood. It has a lovely neon orange color and a flavor you just can't duplicate.

I can't really resist when Hunt's pasta sauce goes on sale for 79 cents a can. Just to buy a can of diced tomatoes to make my own usually costs 99 cents for the store brand.

And the Et Tu caesar salad kits are really good too, I love the dressing in it and have yet to find a bottle off the shelf that tastes like it, much less make my own. I'm not too interested in making my own condiments either, unless it's tarter sauce.

He likes spam, though, and I can't stand the stuff. He makes it into a hash..... i can't go on, getting green here. LOL I'll stick to my deviled chicken.

I guess I'm probably the queen of pre-packaged food here on the village. I just don't like cooking from scratch very much and I'll sheepishly admit I'm kind of lazy Oh, ok, I'm very lazy I'll just say that I can list a lot more packaged foods that we eat than I can list things that I make from scratch. Bad I know and I'm trying to improve but doggone that lazy streak just won't go away But I do use coupons and buy on sale (trying to justify myself here )
