    Default Homemade potato flakes

    HOMEMADE POTATO FLAKES

    Homemade Potato Flakes: Spread cooked mashed potatoes on lightly oiled fruit leather sheets, place in the dehydrator and dry. Break the sheets into chunks, put in the blender, and pulse until ground into flakes.

    Do you think it should be mashed potatoes without butter and milk? Or, do you think it would make a difference, if they were kept in the freezer, afterwards? (with the butter and milk in them)

    I've only done it with out the butter and milk--- not sure of the results of dehydrating those.

    Way to go shp1055. Isn't that just too cool? FV is spreading out there in the world.
