    Default What do you cook?

What are some of the meals that you cook?

I'm tired of the same ol stuff. I'm hoping I'll get some ideas and new recipes

Well Tam, I'm not the best person to ask, as I don't cook very often. lol

Beef potroast, sometimes with potatoes and carrots
    Stuffed Shells
    Mac and Cheese
Shake and Bake Pork Chops sometimes Pork Steaks
Baked Chicken (sometimes with potatoes and carrots)
    Shake and bake chicken
    Chicken and Biscuits
    Chili
    Homemade soups
    Stir Fry
    Beef Stew
    Stuffed Peppers
    Swiss Steak
    Chicken Spedies
Occassionaly throw in breakfast (i.e. pancakes, sausage or bacon and eggs)

Gosh that's all I can think of right now. As you can see Jack is a big meat eater, I like the sides better lol And none of my cooking is spicy or even very imaginative. lol

I feel like I make the same-ol stuff all the time, too. When I get that way, I just go to a recipe site & start-a-lookin'.

Actually, I can easily make enough meals to have a different one every day for 2 months...(if I could afford it ), but when it comes time for dinner, I can't think of a single thing except spaghetti! LOL

Dee--I cook a lot of what you cook LOL

For about a month I've been on this shake n bake pork chops and beef stew. Steve is a little tired of shake n bake but he loves my beef stew First time I ever made was bout 2 months ago

Steve's a meat eater to and a little picky, even though he's getting much better at that. He's more willing to try different things now.And usually ends up liking it. lol For instance,he has never liked green beans. He only remember trying them a hand ful of times and hated them everytime. So,almost a year ago I guess,I BEGGED him to try my green beans.....GUESS WHAT!! He loves them!!! All his life he THOUGHT he hated green beans LOL

Would you share how you make Stuffed Peppers,Swiss Steak,Chicken Spedies.I've tried to amke stuffed peppers once.It was ahuge waste of food and I've never tried again. My mom made good stuffed peppers and I would like to try again....

I'll do my best Tam, but I don't use recipes so this should be interesting. Give me a bit and I'll be back with them for you.

LOL Jamee!!! (btw did you get my pm)

I remember when I first married Steve said I made the best spaghetti he'd ever had. Well since he loved it so much,we ate it a lot LOL He says oneday ."Tammy,I love your spaghetti, really I do,but can we have something diff awhile?!"

Now,you have to understand I got married at age 16 and couldn't cook much of anything,so I was just cooking what I knew I could LOL

    Well okay then, you're safe!

Hey why don't you live dangerously and mix some kool-aid in with that tap water?
