Thumbs up Grandpas Perfect Pound Cake

This is consistently good and freezes well. I have been making it since 1973 when it appeared as "Grandpa Powlis' Perfect Pound cake" in Family Circle magazine when they ran a Black lifestyle page. It even had pic of GP. Enjoy.
