One of my favorite kitchen tools is the apple peeler. That thing saves so much time while making a pie. How did people ever find time to make apple pies when it was such a chore to peel and slice the apples!? Now it's a snap! (Can you tell I'm baking an apple pie?! LOL)
    What is your favorite gadget??

I'd say it's a toss up between my potato peeler and a handy-dandy veggie slicer. The slicer does consistent sizes (1/4" or 1/2") which is perfect for dehydrating evenly. It also shreads and juliennes in a jiffy!

(I do have a new KitchenAid I got this summer that could very well top the list but I haven't used it yet.)

Diane alluded to mine. Love my KA! I have a few of the attachments and the fruit veggie strainer gets a workout late summer when the tomatoes come in. If I remember correctly Diane, your a big tomato fan. The strainer is great for separating skins & seeds from them for sauce & the like.

Diane I have one of those potato slicers also. I forgot about that. It absolutely saved my scalloped potatoes, now they all cook evenly
Be careful tho!!! I actually cut the tip of my finger off while using it without the safety thing once. Lesson WELL learned!! That hurts!!!
