cookie press and cookie stamps?
Anyone into presses or stamps? Any good recipes?
I must sound like a lunatic with my posts today. All food related and all potential purchases. I'm making out a new wishlist. LOL I've been shopping and surfing online for items I want someday.
I call it "window licking". Like window shopping except I know I probably won't be buying anytime soon, but is on a list. (Can we say Sara had coffee?)
hehe Attaching a pic. Not badly priced on qvc. $15

I have the cookie press in the picture. The girls and I make Christmas cookies with it. The cookies look so fancy and pretty. They look very expensive but, are really frugal to make.

Almond Butter Cookie
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp almond extract
2 Cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
Cream the butter and sugar until light. Add the almond extract, salt, and flour. Chill the dough about one hour. Preheat the oven to 350. Form one inch balls and roll them in the sugar. Stamp with the cookie stamps and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
