When you microwave bacon do you?
Do you have a microwave pan for it or do you use a plate and papertowels? I was thinking about this this morning. I use a plate and cheap papertowels but I am thinking that the pan would be less expensive in the long run.

I hate microwaved bacon but that is just my personal preference.
My MIL bought us a pan that is round and with raise grate like things that keeps the bacon out of the grease. I love that

I use a microwave pan like described above but I also use 2 papertowels. 1 under the bacon (makes cleanup soooo much easier) and 1 on top to keep the splatters down in the oven.

When I used to microwave it, I had a bacon cooker that I used, it was a rectangular dish with raised pieces to keep the bacon elevated and it was angled so that the grease ran to a tray at the bottom of it.
Now I just cook it on my George Foreman grill. It turns out great and there is not mess and all the fat is removed.

I have the microwave tray for the bacon. I put papertowel on top to keep it from splattering.

I have a microwave tray with skewers, it streches the bacon and prevents it from shrinking. I put a paper towel on top and one under it. When I microwave on a plate the bacon shrinks too much. This tray keeps the cooked bacon the same size as it comes out of the package.

I use a plate with paper towel on the bottom, between the bacon layers and on top. I love the fact you can cook bacon without the messy/greasy stove.
