Crunchy caramel ice cream topping
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Margarine
1/3 cup chopped or sliced Almonds
1/3 cup Light Corn Syrup
1/3 cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1 Tbs. Water
1/3 cup Crisp Rice Cereal, coarsely crushed
Melt the margarine in a medium skillet over moderate heat.
Add the almonds to the sizzling margarine and sauté for
about 5 minutes, or until brown.
Add the corn syrup, sugar, and water. Heat thoroughly,
until mixture is bubbly and sugar is dissolved. Stir in the
