I like Gordon Ramsey too. I always watch "Kitchen Nightmares" Wednesday nights on Fox. I didn't like him so much on "Hell's Kitchen, but he is great on this new show.

Like many others, I really like Alton Brown. I even got to meet him once. Funny guy! Rachael Ray does make decent food and I appreciate her ordinary cooking style.

Honestly, I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack just watching Paula Dean's cooking.

I like the original Japanese Iron Chef show from back in the day, but the new one doesn't interest me as much.

I think Giada's food is always so beautiful and seems tasty, and Ina Garten is comforting to watch in her own way.

I watch a lot of Food Network ...

I hear you on the Paula Deen! I don't usually watch her show, but one day I was channel surfing and stopped on it long enough to see her take slices of cheesecake, wrap them in pastry dough, DEEP FAT FRY them, then top them with chocolate sauce and real whipped cream! Why would you put something like that in your body? Don't get me wrong, I love cheesecake, plain or with some strawberries, but I don't think I would ever put it in a dough jacket, give it a lard bath, and throw some more animal fat on top!

Yeah, I don't know how she's still alive.

That is so funny! I agree totally.

There is a fast food place here that serves something called a Frenchee. It's a cheese or ham and cheese sandwich dipped in batter and deep fried. I've never had one. Talk about a heart attack waiting to happen.

I'm so embarrassed! I thought the deep fried cheesecake sounded heavenly! Now, I kinda feel bad that I would even consider putting that into my body...maybe just on special occasions-lol
My faves are Paula Deen and the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten

I Love Emeril's recipes, they are just amazing, but they take a while to make some of them.

I am also a big fan of Rachel Ray, I like her bubbly personality and I don't find her corney at all. I have about 5 of her cookbooks and I use them at least twice a week. YUMMO!

I like Giada DeLarentas (sp?), I have made some of her recipes and they have come out great too.

I like Paula and the recipes of her's I have tried are good but there is just too much butter and other rich ingredients in there for me.

I have several favorites on the food network. . .Barefoot Contessa, Robin Miller, Guy, and Ingrid Hoffman. Since I live in Florida, I'm really starting to get into Ingrid Hoffman's style of cooking. Just sort of fits the mood I think.

I choose Ray but I also like Sandra Lee. I think she is a more doable Martha S.

Don't be embarrassed . It is fine to enjoy a treat every now and then even if it is terribly unhealthy . As long as you don't eat that at every meal, there is nothing wrong with a splurge every now and then. I love Paula Deen, she has such a bubbly personality, she is someone that I would love have at a dinner party, what a character she is. I love that she never looks down her nose at anyone, she treats everyone like she has known them forever and they are her friend.
