Darlene, would you please share your recipe for garlic pecan brown rice? It sounds scrumptious!

Sure, it comes in a box and is from the Near East company, lol.
I don't use too many packaged products but this is one of them. It's called Near East Whole Grain Blends Roasted Pecan & Garlic. It's a blend of whole grain brown rice, bulgur and other grains. It's pricy at a little over $2.00 a box and that box fed just Jack & I with only a tiny bit leftover. We really like it, goes great with any meat.

I do want to find a good recipe to make at home. When I do I'll be sure to share it!
Ooh, just found it on Amazon for a pretty good price, hmm...na I think I'll try to come up with my own recipe, lol. I am going to have to look for that at the store the next time I go. It sounds so yummy and now that I know what the box looks like I will be able to find it easier. Thanks for sharing it with us Darlene.

I'll have to look for that one while I'm in Austin. My town carries only pretty basic stuff, so I have fun shopping for "special" things when I'm in any city.
