    Default Superbowl

So the Superbowl is this weekend. Anyone cooking any special food to eat while watching the game?

I am thinking about maybe some Chicken Wings. Don't know what else yet though.

I am 45 years old, and have never watched a Superbowl in my life. I love finger food, though!

DH and I are just not sports fans.

I am usually eatting the food and watching the half-time show. I don't like the game either.

We don't care to watch the game either. We watch for the commercials.
I plan to cook up some BBQ Chicken Wings, Chili Cheese dip, Baked Spinach-Artichoke dip, mini egg rolls and some jalapeno poppers. We are having a few friends over and they will bring a dish or two as well. Should be some good eats.

My sister is having super bowl at her house this year. She is making chili and some kind of dip and I am thinking spinach artichoke dip, antipasto squares and either a dump cake or cheesecake squares. I am not sure how many people she has invited.

We're having an anti-superbowl party this year for us and our other geeky friends. We're going to watch Superman Returns and play video games instead of watching "the game".

I'm going to make some 7 Layer Bean dip (which ends up being like 12 layers because I can never stop putting stuff in), and not too sure what else yet.

Superman Returns is great! I have a love for comic book superheroes. Your party sounds fun.

I'm still going to watch the game though, because I can't help myself. Even though I don't care about the Bears or the Colts. Come on, Patriots!

So far our menu will be:

*bacon wrapped chicken bites with ranch dipping sauce
    *mini meatballs in marinara sauce
*sausage n cheese dip (crockpot) with tortilla chips
*good bread n several sandwich options

We always watch the SuperBowl for the commercials, reading the newspaper amid the game BUT this year we're rootin' for those COLTS!!

I'm watching this year because our beloved Colts are going to be there Plus the commercials are fun!

I was thinking about wings too, although the kids won't eat them. Perhaps I can fix them chicken nuggets or hot dogs or something. My dh and I love spicy food (especially me). Maybe some chips and dip and fresh veggies to go with it. I don't know yet, gotta get dh's input.

    GO COLTS!

We watch every year ( for the commercials) and use it as a day to pig out and just have fun (kid friendly - always a bunch of teenagers at the house as the parents go to more adult parties). We will have wings, pizza, dips/chips/veggie sticks, brownies and ice cream.
