    I washed, blanched (3 mins), ice bathed (3 mins) and froze my greenbeans and brocoli last season and when thawing and cooking them over the winter months, they were like wet sponges. I'm thinking of either shortening the blanching time or freezing them over dry ice so they freeze faster.

    Any opinions on either idea?
