DH does this impression of me. He says that I leave a very tempting plate on the counter.. walk away to get my camera, he comes in wanting to sneak a taste and I catch him with a veggie or two in his mouth. then he says.. in his most womanly voice... NO! Not yet, I have to take a picture for FV. Get!
LOL too funny cause its TRUE.marie/andrea

My that looks tastey with all the fresh veggies! I'd have to substitute a baked or broiled chicken breast for the pork chop though -- but that would be easy enough.

Um, would you mind sharing how you make your pork chops with me? It looks delicious.

i dont mind at all!! ok. its super simple.
i just pan fry them with very little vegetable oil.
i rub in a little lemon pepper seasoning in and place in the pan. anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes on one side, depending on how high the heat is and then flip. thats it. with these, i added some parsley flakes before i flipped (cause i like the way it makes the meat look)
i let the meat cook all the way through at a low-med heat and then once theyre cook well, i turn the heat up at the end to get the golden brown color.marie/andrea

oh i feel ya. we're in texas and although its not as hot as it normally is for this time of year, i aim to make quick meals to keep the cooking heat to a minimum. today actually, our power went out. sure was glad for that electric stove of ours! we ate by candle light.

We don't eat any pork -- at all. Haven't for over 15 years. It's a combination of health and religious reasons. What I loved about this meal was the bright colors of the fresh vegetables. The type of meat doesn't really matter -- it could be chicken, fish or left out altogether.
