Default Need a bulk recipe for hot cocoa

The guys down at the union hall will be needing to make hot cocoa for the guys soon on the picket line. (unless the comp decides to start negotiating - hopefully SOON).... does anyone have a recipe for bulk cocoa that does not require regular milk? (way too expensive). They will boil the water and then put it in a big drink cooler to keep it warm. Or if anyone knows a place they can buy the cocoa mix in bulk cans? we're trying to figure out the cheapest way to do this. Each guy is now contibuting $1 each time they picket (2x a week) and this money (about $800) will be used to feed them while they are picketing.

We love the recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book:

    10 cups dry milk powder
    1 lb powdered sugar
1 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
6 oz jar (about 1 3/4 cups) nondairy creamer

Mix altogether (I sift to get out any lumps in the cocoa and sugar) and store in airtight container.

Mix 1/3 cup mixture per cup (or to taste) and add boiling water.

You can stir in 1/2 cup instant coffee for a mocha version or 1 1/2 cups malted milk powder for a malted version. If you use different flavors of powdered coffee creamer, you can get different flavors of hot cocoa, too.

Don't know if you're still looking for a recipe or not but I have one that doesn't have the coffee creamer and other more expensive ingredients.

It's just regular cocoa powder (not drink mix), powdered milk and regular granulated sugar (you can use sugar substitute). It does have a different flavor than the other, but I like it better. It does seem to depend on personal taste though. I don't have the amounts in my head, but if you would like I can look it up.
