We like to make fresh pierogis from scratch. They taste nothing like the frozen ones by mrs T. Even if we froze our homemade ones they would taste better than the store brands.

Yeah, what is it I'm noticing lately about frozen food? Maybe my tastes are evolving, but it all tastes awful! (except for food that I make from scratch and freeze of course
) I cooked some frozen brussels sprouts (don't laugh--I actually LIKE brussels sprouts!) and I have made them from fresh for probably a couple of years--and they were horrible I threw them down the disposal.
Anyway--another thing I thought of is anything Asian is better from scratch and FRESH.
