Mega Meals From One Chicken!

I had a roasted chicken the other day. I put the drumsticks in my hubby's lunch. The next day i cooked the bones and made a nice broth to which I add some leftover peas and corn and cooked ddrop dumpling s on top, we had this for lunch. The next day I took the leftover broth and made gravy. I warmed up some chicken and the gravy and some beets and maded mashed pottoes. Tonight we warmed up all that was left. So that was 5 meals!

Don't you just love all those meals for so little cost!!! I always get 2 meals out of a whole chicken..the first meal is always the chicken of coarse, mashed potatoes,gravy,stuffing and veggie..the 2 meal is either chicken soup or chicken and dumplings.. But then again I have 6 mouths to feed or I could easily make more meals then what I do make..

Way to go!! We also like chicken sandwiches, so that's one way we use up a chicken.
