I am one of the lazy ones too opting for the baby size ones. We snack on them and cook with them so they don't go to waste.

While I know buying whole carrots is cheaper than the baby carrots, I buy the baby carrots. I like the fact that they seem to stay fresh longer and I like the convenience...not very frugal I know...but, I do wait until they are on sale B0GO.

When making a vegetable tray, I get the baby carrots.

I agree that they do get a bit slimy.

I use regular carrots for cooking and prefer eating them over baby carrots.

Baby carrots are just a convenience for me.

depends whats on sale. generally only use carrots when making vitamix smoothies, so it doesnt matter if they are baby or adult carrots. That motor can grind grape seeds to liquid...
