Aussie Fries Outback Steakhouse

Serves 6 -8

Ingredients

Aussie Fries
1 (2 lb) bag frozen french fries or equivalent of homemade
1 cup colby-monterey jack cheese, shredded
8 pieces bacon, cooked
24 fluid ounces peanut oil

Dipping Sauce
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 dash salt
1 dash black pepper

Directions
1 Divide the fries into half, and fry the other half later. Heat oil to 350 degrees. Fry the potatoes in small batches, they are done when they are golden brown, and float to the top of the fryer. Drain the potatoes on paper towels.

2 When all French fries are done cooking, and drained place them onto a platter. Salt the french fries if you like, and sprinkle on cheese and cooked bacon. Pop these back into a warm oven until the cheese begins to melt.
