I get mine at price chopper...A grocery store chain, do you have one in your area?

No I do not, I have tried to following places:

    Target
    Kmart
    Publix
    Local Health Food Store.

I keep reading something on buying it at a pool store?? Not to sure about that one!

Hmmm IDK...the washing soda maybe...they have a chemical similar...But I always stock up on my supplies at price chopper, because they don't seem to be a very popular item, and I'm afraid they may discontinue them...so I always buy some when I have the extra money, to stockpile the items up...LOL

I just typed in Fels Naptha into my search engine and I see that Ace Hardware sells them in a 24 pack for $30.00.

Are you looking in the laundry soap aisle or the regular soap aisle? I thought it would be in with laundry supplies in our local grocery store, but it was with body soaps.

If you can't find it, you could always ask a store manager to stock it; some stores are really good fulfilling customers requests.

    Good luck!

well, ya know you don't have to use fels naptha. You can use octagon which is a bar soap in the cleaning/laundry section. Some have used Ivory soap. Sometimes in "country" style gift shops they have lye soap, you could try using that. I'm surprised that kmart didn't have the washing soda. maybe you could ask the manager to order it for you? I find mine in my local grocery store in the laundry isle. do you have a walmart? they might have it.

Thanks for the Ace hardware tip...It's 4 cents cheaper per bar than I am paying at price chopper that way. My walmart doesn't carry anything but the borax.

I am in The Tampabay area of Florida. Ace carries the fels naptha and Walmart carries the borax. I have heard you can get the chemical that is washing soda at any pool supply store.

The dial corporation, who makes Fels Naptha, has a store locator for there more rare products. Here is the link http://www.dialcorp.com/storelocator/storeloc2.cfm .
However the locator does not work well with Firefox, but will work with Internet Explorer. I hope this helps.

I get both at Kroger. I looked on their website and they are associated with - Ralph's, King Sooper, City Market, Dillons, Smiths, Frys, QFC, Bakers, Owens, JayC, Hilanders, Gorbes, Payless, and Scotts. Maybe one of these are in your area.

Also you could talk to the manager and ask if they could order it for you. I have done it in the past and had good luck getting them to carry something I wanted.

I saw you were from West Palm, I am near you. I found Washing Soda and Fels Naptha at Publix in the laundry section. I guess you could try another location. Fels Naptha was .99 cents and Washing Soda was $2.19. I bought the Borax at Wal-mart.
