Default Need easy cheap ideas for Grass stain!

My son comes home from school with Grass stains alot of days! I use Oxyclean spray, but it is expensive.

We are trying to be frugal now, and I want him to get by on 3-4 pair of pants, so I want something that will be Gentle on pants fabric, and not something too hard to prepare. Like an already mixed up stain spray would be good.

Ammonia is pretty strong to me, Dont like that as well! I have read about Vinegar for grass stains, have any of you had experience with it? What about the cheap Dollar General stain sprays?

I've never tried very hard with grass stains, because it's normally just play clothes with my kids. The suggestions I have found on the internet are:

    - use a detergent containing enzymes (like Tide) either by pouring directly on the stain and scrubbing, or soaking overnight in a mixture with water. Then wash with detergent containing a colour safe bleach.
    - Spray with a mixture of water and vinegar; water and rubbing alcohol; or peroxide, water & bleach (that one sounds dangerous), let it sit awhile, then wash as normal.
    - Rub with molasses (!), let it sit for a few minutes, then wash as normal.

I need to find some stained pants because I'm really curious about the molasses one.

I scrub a little dish soap on the spot and let the laundry soak over night.
