Laundromat or Laundrymat?
OK - so on another thread, I posted something about going to the laundrOmat and the OP replied about the laundrYmat. Which is it? I frankly never heard of it called laundrYmat until just recently.
Opinions?

I have never seen it spelled with a "Y". So I vote for Laundromat.
But I have to admit that "Laundrymat" makes more sense!Spiritual:
"You are fearfully and wonderfully made." Please... respect life.
Financial:
Debt free, hoping to stay that way!

Where I live it is spelled laundromat and pronounced both ways.
I was curious so I looked it up in my dictionary (Webster's New World Dictionary) and it says laundromat and laundermat."Everyday as your walking down the street, everybody that you met has an original point of view" -Arthur PBS
