    Default Sounds silly but....

I'm so thrilled, lol. My hubby put up a clothes line for me last week and I have been ENJOYING it sooooo much!!! I had one years ago when I was married to my first husband. He didn't mind having one but my husband now....well, it took two years of bugging him to finally get one. I have missed the smell of fresh air on my sheets. Little jellybean, L, and K get out there and help me and we have such a fun time. We act so silly because we're digging our faces in the towels or sheets, smelling. I wonder what the neighbors think when they see us? haha! Okay, that's all I just had to share my happiness!

Its funny, even after having a clothes line for years, I still smell the sheets and towels after hanging them outside. Enjoy!

Not silly at all, besides the smell factor think of all the money your saving by not using the dryer! Sniff & smile your heart out!

There's nothing as sweet as clothes dried on the line.

If I didn't know better, I would have thought I wrote this thread. I like the simple things like a clothes line. I had one with my 1st husband (deceased) and enjoyed it so much. Now....I am still waiting on my clothesline. I hang up clothes on a fence and everywhere I can.

We had to dry the sheets in the dryer the last time because it rained (weather.man lied again). I commented as I went to bed that I missed the "outside" smell and DH commented that he did too.

Honestly - I'd be lost w/o my clothesline. I'd like it better if it wasn't in view of the neighbors (I won't hang my delicates out there - Ha Ha!) but Yea You!

LOL, that's what I was doing except it was on our back deck. It drove my hubby CRAZY! He said I was ruining the deck by placing wet clothes on the railing....I have yet to see where I've damaged it tho, ha! he finally got tired of my nagging every time I did a load of clothes. With five of us it can really add up.

LOL! I don't either, I'm not brave enough. hahaha, making me laugh just thinking about it. That would be a sight! I'm sure the neighbors would be thrilled...or tickled to death!!!

Happened to me last week and I couldn't believe how disappointed I was...all because of not having that fresh air scent.

Even if I had a clothes line I wouldn't hang them out. Not because I don't want too but because they would smell like my neighbors house an out house( cat s**t heaven) :-(

I was so excited to see a clothes line when I first looked at my house. I love my clothesline! This weekend I was actually checking out the poll that its on and there is another hook. I think I may add a second line as sometimes I run out of room.

I think its so relaxing and in a way empowering to hang clothes.
