Does anyone use lye soap for stains? I made some a while ago and just used some on one of my ruined new tops. Well, my top is good as new, again! The soap took out the grease stains. It even rescued one of my DH's t-shirts. I'd be careful on what you use it on, but it worked great! Both of the shirts I used it on were cotton or cotton blend.
