I scaled Mt. Laundry!
Or Mt. Gina, as dh so affectionately put it.

There's been a mountain of clean laundry (about 5 loads) on my couch for nearly 2 weeks. Today, I decided to just do it! I got it all hung up and put away, woohoo!
Took about an hour and a half. Yay me!

Yay! Gina!
DH helped me scale part of Mt. laundry here yesterday while I was at Scouts...laundry has been clean, just piled up...ew...I hate piles of clean laundry...time to REDUCE our clothes clutter further!
I hate having more than one load to put away at a time!
'course that room is still plenty messy!

That's great
I am glad to hear that I'm not the only one who dreads putting away clean laundry. Don't know why, but I just hate it

Those are my least favorite chores too, Michele. Actually I don't mind doing the dishes, I just can't stand to unload the dishwasher, why is beyond me. Dd is 7 now, she gets that chore.

Mt. laundry is still sitting here!
I think that when the dd's get home from school today, they can assist mom in putting it away!

Ours isnt the putting away....its the washing. Our washer is broke so I have to go to the laudrymat. I washed 165 lbs. of laundry saturday!!
I know cause each washer said how many lbs. it holds. And thats only HALF of it, ugh!

LOL Pat, I would love to but cant. I have 3 Dk's and one of the is a Ds who is at that what to wear is important stage. He also needs to change clothes twice a day. He fears screwing up his nice school clothes so he changes when he comes home from school. And the other 2 are girls, need I say more? LOL
Plus one of my dd is 7 months old and wears cloth diapers half the day.

I actually used to like going to the laundry mat. All of the laundry was done in an hour or so, I folded there and put it away when I got home. The whole task was done in 2 hours, give or take.
Now that we have a washer and dryer I do laundry daily and even that isn't enough sometimes. I usually fold the laundry and put away the downstairs stuff and dh puts away the upstairs stuff. It works for us.
I don't mind washing dishes either, but I hate to dry them and put them up. Yuck! If dh is home he will do that task too.
