    Default Clothesline Pole Disaster

We had the same clothes line poles in the back yard for at least 17 years. The other day dh was checking them to see how secure they were and one had rusted out and fell over! Yesterday he went to Menards and bought a new one. He's putting them in a different location in the yard. He got them cemented in already. I can't wait until he puts the lines up so I can use them. At least I still have the lines in the basement I can use in the meantime.

Glad you didn't have clean clothes on the line when it fell! Enjoy the new lines.

Enjoy those new lines and be very thankful you live in an area where you can put up lines. Eventhough my neighborhood doesn't allow lines, I still put some things over the railing on my deck to dry...it's sneaky, but it works and thing smell sssssoooooo ggggggoooooodddd

He's finishing up the job right now. Next time I do laundry I can hang it outside instead of in the basement! Woo Hoo!!
