YEAH! I have a 'real' clothesline!!
We bought this house where everything needs to be done with it. It had a very old umrella type clothes pole with all rotted lines. Since I love to dry outside and since the dryer that came with the house is an absolute piece of JUNK I restrung this rickedy old thing and was hang drying my laundry. I didn't mind at all, really.
One of the major jobs to the house involved cutting down this HUGE tree, Measured in at 10' around...65' tall...100 year old thing. Only problem was that it was way too close to the house. Well, anyway BF and his exBIL decided to tackle it themselves. They were AMAZING!!! Noone was hurt and there was no property damage, well, almost no property damage. The clothes pole took one for the cause and it's now history. That was two weeks ago. I've been hanging my laundry on dryier racks and anything else that would work for two weeks.
Last night BF built me a REAL clothes line...T-----T YEAH! There's actually 4 lines, LOL!
I'm off now to do sheets cuz now I don't have to wrap queen sized sheets around and around on that awful umbrella thingy!

I like your BF, what a guy! Enjoy your new clothesline and listening to the birds singing as you hang your laundry.
