Congrats, cab54! What a great feeling that must be!

Have been knitting and crocheting like crazy! Finished up another hat for charity, using YankeeMom's pattern -- thanks again, Yankee Mom!

Tried Hobby Lobby to buy replacement yarn to finish baby afghan (anything to avoid Wal-mart this time of year). Outta luck -- but think I'll wait till after Christmas to venture back to Wal-mart to buy it; I have plenty of other projects (including unbaked cookies...).

You guys are doing great! I know you'll meet your challenges!

The other night, my dh (who has no hobbies around here, and doesn't lift a finger for Christmas, other than the $$) said to me "You'd better finish that, hon, you're running out of time." (loves to state the obvious) I said, "Gee thanks, Honey, for pointing that out."

I'm still trying to squeak out this neckwarmer before tomorrow, but not sure if I can do it. I'm about 2.5 inches in, and I need 4 inches total. Oh, well, if not, it can be a Valentine's present (or my first X-mas present of 2009 completed ).

I'm still plugging away at my sweater. I finished one sleeve, redid the bind off on the body and started the second sleeve. I still have to do the collar too. I'm thinking it won't be done in time for me to wear it to Christmas. I have sooooo much to do that I don't have time to knit much lately.

I also worked on that Monkey sock a bit. I've finished the heel & gusset and am working on the foot. But I've put it away until I finish my sweater so I won't be tempted lol.

    You are amazing, Heather.

A sweater on top of those pies and Christmas dishes? I would be tearing my hair out.

Great job to everyone!! Only a few days left in December, so let's finish out strong!

I am going to try to finish that neckwarmer and see how much progress I can get done on the latch hook rug!

January challenge thread is on its way, for those who want to keep their needlework fingers warmed up in the new year!
