I got the two nightshade panels done for our two patio doors today, and Fred installed the hooks to hang them from, so our house will be warmer tonight! From the two drapes and valance I got for $2, I will be getting the two patio door curtains, the two panels to cover the twelve feet of windows on the front of the house, two panels for a couple of large windows in the kitchen, and, I think, four half-panels for our bedroom and entry. Quite a bargain, and it'll all save quite a bit of heat in the winter.
I'm failing miserably at getting my sewing room in order. But if I hadn't started that, I wouldn't have stumbled over these drapes and thought of making the nightshades, which will actually save us money. So it's all good.

Way to go SpiritDeer! I think that is fabulous and you will save money! I am thinking about doing something like that for next winter. I have read on other sites that it does save a ton on heat.

I'm still plugging away at ds7's blanket. I did a few more rows last night and finished off the third skein. I'm on the fourth and final skein

I'm plugging away on a baby blanket made from fleece yarn. It's beautiful. Still working on my seafoam shawl. Also working on a ribbon scarf for my mil. ANd I started the palindrom scarf from ravelry to give to a friend. I wanted to teach myself how to do the cables. It's easy!!

That scarf is beautiful, Nichole. I am puzzled by it, though: how is it reversible??
