I know, I know! I lent out our camera to our pastor and I don't think he'll be back until Sunday. In the meantime, I was kinda thinking I would give the doll as a birthday present for my little cousin on Saturday. I need to figure out a way to take a picture before I give her away. Hmmm....

I finished a few things yesterday! I finished a toy for my pastor's first grandchild, I also finished a set of dishcloths for my sister's birthday coming up. I got started on my latest cross stitch project, too. I really should be doing my dad's scarf, but I just can't get into it. The pattern is so repetitive, it's basically the same two rows over and over. It looks really cool, but I have a hard time doing more than a few rows at a time.
Anyone else have updates? Oh, I should have my pics downloaded today sometime, so hopefully I will post a link to pics.

I need to stop starting, and start finishing. Add me to your challenge. A brief list of my unfinished projects is in my signature. I have added the year they were all started for your amusement.
I found the pieces cut out for a size 4 dress when I was cleaning up my fabric. It was supposed to be for my oldest daughter, now almost 17, but it will fit my youngest so I'm going to finish it.Last edited by monkeywrangler71; 08-12-2009 at 05:15 PM.

Well, except for the fact that you have been crafting a bit longer than I have (I started when pregnant with my first, she's 6 now), we are about the same! I have an unfinished blanket that's going on 5 years old, and an unfinished baby bassinet blanket over 6 years and running. If I am not into the project, it just sits! Welcome to our group!

I have several WIPs. I guess I am easily bored and like to start new projects. I do finish them, it just longer than some. I am finding that I like small projects that I can finish in days or weeks not months.
I have a couple of afghans that need finishing as well as curtain to make and bag to sew up. Someday I will finish them. Right now I am enjoying knitting socks.Julie

Julie, I wish I could knit socks! I can barely knit, to tell you the truth. I would love to see pics of anything you have done.

Okay. I'm in. I did just turn in a book I was working on. If the publisher doesn't kick it back for revisions, that one is complete. My collaborator drove the project. If it was me? We'd probably still be thinking about it...
I have various writing projects: short stories, a novel, misc. articles, etc. all unfinished.
I have all the house projects that are ALSO unfinished on my signature line.
So I'm IN...maybe I can embarrass myself into actually getting some of this stuff DONE already, you think?
Judi
P.S. I guess I really need to do this...as I've now said I would twice? (So sad, the mind is the first thing to go....)
