Lindsay - love the bunnies! The mitten is wonderful. Love the colors.

shovelski - Great curtains! I am going to have to remember how you made them. What a great way to use up scraps. Ooooh, the possibilities.

Madhen - forgot to ask. Have you decided on what the January dishclothes will look like? I know you want to do a theme. Love the color of the yarn BTW.

I'm thinking of trying to knit a snowflake pattern into them. I have to sit down and write it out to see if it will work.

CO the Haruni for my mom last night. Knitting it in KP Shimmer (alpaca/silk). It is gorgeous and I love it! However, my size 4’s are occupied, and the closest thing I have is a 6. Knitting with lace weight rather than fingering (patt written with fingering and size 4), and its giving me some grief over whether it will be what I want in the end. I know gauge doesn’t really make a difference in lace knitting - but will it be too loose? Maybe I should just buckle down and finish Swallowtail so I can start this again with 4’s. Might give me some motivation to get through those nupps.

Here are some pics! Finished that felted bunny Planning on doing a few more in different colors (blue, brown, green). Also there are a few pics of my dyeing job! The lighter ones I'm planning on playing with a bit more - maybe overdyeing with a deep purple. I'm hoping not to lose the color variation. I've got about 200 yards in each, and its lace weight, so I'm excited to try some different things!

That bunny is so freaking cute!!!
I'm with you on the Swallowtail. I'm past the nupps and I still can't motivate myself to finish it lol.

I finished my thermos yesterday. I learned to make a placket and a sewn bind off.

Today I cast on for Kalajoki socks, with Knit Picks Gloss fingering weight in dusk. I'm just about done with the ribbing on sock one. I love the construction of it. Should be good practice with dpn's.

I ordered 3 skeins of kp stroll in "terrain twist" for socks for db which will be February. It is ugly something awful.

I haven't picked the pattern for the afghan square forthis month yet. As I was picking out the yarn db walked into the yarn store so I wasn't able to get it. I did however get a pair of nice scissors by bryspun and a set of two kniterella notepads. One says "if knitting were a drug I'd be checking into rehab" I forget what the other one says. And a set if tags 3 that say "just because it's hand made doesn't mean it was cheap" and the other three say "yes I made it hope you like it after all the work and thought I put into it you better" haha.

Were getting Internet (verizon fios!!) the 18th so I'll have photos (hopefully f/o photos!) then.

Found a decent snowflake pattern on line, so I'll probably just use that.

Hey.........share where the pattern was.......well, if it was a freebie.

Or was it just a pic of a snowflake that you will use?
