Nice going, AP; I love looking at crazy quilts, especially the fancy hand-stitch kind. I've wanted to make myself a long, crazy-quilt skirt for years, something to wear in my music studio; it would match with any coloured blouse or top.

Love the dr. seuss quilt!! I drew his face for our front door at school and added a Santa hat for the season.
No quilt made last night - low energy issues hae been plaguing me for almost two weeks and I'm paying attention to my body!! But this has reminded me that I need to have my usual 2-3 baby quilt stash for situations like this. I really got a lot done last year when someone was hostessing different quilting challenges!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Pretty quilt P. Like the colors in it too.
Hey.......a "done" is a done.......time doesn't count in quilting.
That is about how long it took for my H. 2B Square one.......and it STILL isn't quilted........that was just the top.

Ran out of white thread machine quilting the window quilts. So that will have to stop till tomorrow, when I have the car.
Instead I cut out a baby quilt. And I've been cruising quilt books looking for more small quilts to make.
I gave away three quilts the other day to a single mother in need, so it's time to rebuild inventory!2012 Challenges

That was so thoughtful of you Peanut - and now she has heirlooms to pass along!! Hate it when I run out of thread - especially the basic colors!!

Got some WIPs done.........and a couple of new ones......am on a pretty good roll...for me!
Here are some pics.........horses are REALLY OLD (the tan one was BURIED!!)......'circles' was
working with a new ruler and have many ideas for it now.
The other---stack, whack, shuffle, sew,--was a new technique and the pic doesn't do the batiks justice but I am pleased with how it came out. Think I will try to quilt this one myself......should be small enough, if my shoulder holds up.

Lovely FF!
Got the material from Keepsake quilting yesterday for my mom's quilt that I want to make for her 70th birthday. It's lovely batiks. I need to finish cutting my black and white squares, then I will start cutting out her quilt. Lots of projects!~Kim~
