I looked back at my log and I have only bought 2 skeins of yarn this year and it's March! I think that's a record. Just using it up!Donna

Everyone is doing so well! Love all of the afghans and the rug hooking! Things have been crazy busy, but I hope to be able to do a bit of sewing next week, otherwise, my sewing day with my girlfriend is on the 19th and I will be sewing all day then for sure!

I taught a beaded iris class this morning and managed to use up 20,000+ beads and 500+ gold metallic pipe cleaners not to mention the miles of floral tape!! Yay! I had 30 participants between the two classes and some of them bought additional supplies so my container dwinidled by about 75%.

Put the frog in pot, turn up the heat real slow, and the frog doesn't hop out. And by the time he realizes, he should , it's too late... think about it.

Sumacaroni: Good stuff! Way to go! That's using up stash.
I'm designing rugs to use up stash. Also planning sewing projects to use up stash. Hopefully I'll get around to sewing and rug hooking this week.

Thanks all! Peanut, I just love your rug creations. Love. Love!
I started a crochet tote bag to use up some of this Caron soft yarn. Also it's 16 easy blocks so a good project to take along to work or wherever. A tote-able tote project.

Thanks Sumacaroni.
I love making them. I have some on Etsy for sale right now. I'm taking some to a local craft sale in May. Didn't get a lick of work done today on them, and now I'm too tired to even think about it. I'm going to go to bed early tonight.

Way to go, Tervs!
Su, take only enough cash to pay for the hook and no other money in any form. Even having to walk back out to the car to retrieve money gives you time to think over any other purchases.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

SD is wise. That's exactly what I'm doing now. Making a list and only taking money for what's on the list. By doing that I managed to cut my grocery bill to $40 for this week for 3 people. That's pretty good. Mind you, I've already got 2 months worth of meat in the house.

Everyone seems to be doing great as the various stashes continue to dwindle........

I continue to finish WIP quilts......and if I finish the one this week, I have two more to go, then it is nothing but new projects!!!
WHOOT..........can't wait.
A couple of our stores do that P........and a friend and I plan to take the classes........glad they aren't as $ as yours. They charge $40 to $60 for the class.......(a must have)........and depending on the long arm.......$20 to $40 for the machine, when renting. (the computerized 'different' patterns cost more) They have a couple of the MONSTER ones!
I had been pricing a long arm and when I found the one I wanted.........and saw the price, decided I could rent a machine for quite a few hours at that price!!
And I have absolutely NO DESIRE to turn it into a business........just would be nice to get my own work done.
A cousin bought one.........and didn't get a big enough throat, and consequently hates the machine!!!
