I have no place for a long arm. And I don't want quilting to be my main business either. I'm a rug hooker at heart and that's what I've decided to stick with. Today I've been hooking an 8 x 10" rug of a red door. Looking good so far! Hoping to finish it tonight, but we'll see...

Am making some denim flowers from a pair of jeans that are too big - for a swap. Have wanted to make these for a looking time!! It takes so little to amuse me.

Oh shoots, I packed everything in and got it ready to mail. Well I will just have to make another flower and take a picture to share. Or I can wait until I get better at it before sharing!!

Good advice, you two! I walked in with a 40% off coupon and $5.00 and walked out with ONE crochet hook and nothing else
I did, however, cop a feel of several yarns but none of them convinced me that I had to have them at this time.
Can't wait to see pics, some days I live to browse around looking at everyone's finished projects.

Way to go Su! MM we will get pictures out of you yet!
I didn't get my rugette finished tonight. Ended up visiting an elderly lady for a couple hours instead. Also spent today working on something I can't say anything about until Wednesday...hopefully it will be done then...a mystery project!

Still knitting, but it is slow-going with the kids and their demands to be fed. And bathed. Sigh.

My mystery project is finished! It was a surprise birthday party for DH. Took two days to plan and execute. Two cakes later, and about 4 or 5 pots of tea, he is exhausted and in bed. I am just winding down before following him.
And I finished this today...

Might make the leaves a darker green tomorrow. Will see...2013 Challenges

Absolutely love this one, peanut! Very very artistic, especially the trees how they wind and cross the door. And then there's the door.... with its shades of red. This one is captivating me! Seriously love this artistry.
