A few titles:
I listened to Cameron, A Dog's Purpose, on audio. A wonderful book, but have a hanky near by! Actually, the sad comes and goes, but what I remember most is the hilarious take on the world through the dog's point of view. Delightful in every way.
Finch Handbook. Not exactly accentuating the positive - it made me feel that they would keel over dead in three days if I didn't have a live-in avian vet. Since finches are what I've settled on, I hope it's not that bad!
Currently reading Finches for Dummies. I'll finish it before bed. Don't know what's up next.Donna

Only got 1/4 of the way through Julie & Julia by Julie Powell and that was it for me. I just couldn't get past her attitude. She was a whiner and her need to go off on tangents talking politics and the off putting way she talked about 9/11. ugh. Not often a book turns me completely off but she managed it.

I did enjoy quick reads of Body Movers 1-3 by Stephanie Bond.~*Darlene*~

Since my last update (One Second After) I've finished up 3 more:
1. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
2. Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
3. The Road by Cormac McCarthy
all three were great. Read 1/2 of The Shack by Wm Paul Young and just couldn't get into it.
Guess I'll select my 4 for February. Maybe I'll finally read the Hunger Games, I've heard GREAT stuff about it.

Finished 4 more:
12. Fey Born by R. Garland Gray--A paranormal romance. It was OK. I think this is part of a series, but I won't go rushing out to find the rest.
13. Immortal Warrior by Lisa Hendrix--another paranormal romance (see a trend here?
). This one was good, again part of a series, but I think I will try to find the rest.
14. The Birth House by Ami McKay--This is a Canadian author; the story takes place in Nova Scotia. It's about midwives and home healers. Really good book!
15. Hallowed by Cynthia Hand--young adult novel; second in a series. This one's about part-angels. Enjoyed it a lot, now just have to wait for the next one!~Tracy~

According to my library tracker, I read just over 150 books last year. I was unemployed for part of it though so I had all day. I'll be happy with 50 books this year.
So far this year, I've read 13 books.
My next is one of the Sue Grafton series - E is for Evidence.
