Since starting this challenge I've got rid of over 100 patterns and 2 large garbage bags of fabric. I have a third large garbage bag of fabric almost ready to go...just a few more pieces of fabric to go through.
I also was given a box of fabric, which I went through and gave away half. Plus a friend is cleaning out her stash and passing it through me before passing it on. Quite a bit of fabric sorting here, but I'm down 7 boxes!2012 Challenges

I've decided to also not buy anymore yarn until I either use it or sell it, as I've went a bit crazy earlier this year and bought a ton of yarn, mainly during a sale. I'm doing pretty well-I think it's been at least a month or two since I bought something, but I haven't really used any either. Just started a felting project last week though

I've sorted through all my thread now and organized it. Should be easier to find. STILL working on organizing fabric, but I'm almost done. I just have to get off this box and do it!

Okay, I really need to do this. I have not bought any new supplies, but I need to stop buying craft patterns and books too! I think I will cull through my books and start purging. There are some I know I just will not use. I would love to donate them to the library. I wonder if they would take them? Hmmm....
Anyways, I'm finishing up a sweater vest for myself that I knitted with yarn I already had. Once that is done, I might start another scrap yarn afghan. I knit one already and I love it! I used the "Mindless TV watching Afghan."
This is a great challenge!!

Finished organizing all my fabric! I got rid of 8 boxes of it! I'd say I cut the collection by 1/3 at least. Now onto other craft organization areas.

I am going to try and use up the fabric I have, with the exception of buying the stuff I need for holiday gifts AS LONG AS I'VE LOOKED IN MY STASH FIRST!
Wish me luck!! lol
And no more new patterns (again with the exception of getting patterns I may need for holiday gifts BUT TRY AND MAKE THINGS FROM PATTERNS I ALREADY HAVE) ~ darn those .99 pattern sales at Joanns.

I haven't bought any scrapbooking supplies since we started this challenge, except for adhesive, which is allowed. And I still have a ton in my craft room.
I did buy yarn for the dishcloth challenge. (And 3 more skiens for myself.)
Tons of ribbon, but that is for the wedding favors, and some satin and lace to cover the wishing well for the wedding.frugalcountrylady.blogspot.com

Okay. Once I pay for the yarn I've committed to (Rav seller is offline), I am going to try for a no-buy July. I have enough yarn to keep me busy for a long time.

Well, I finally cleaned out my craft supply. I'm still in shock of everything I got out of this room! To keep this room tidy, I decided I would only keep enough supplies that would fit in the closet. I also had three large bins full of yarn in the garage, which I cut back to one. I went through everything bit of my fabric and yarn stash. It is nice to see what I actually have!!
I have decided to NOT bring any new supplies in until I have finished some projects that will leave room. I really don't want to let things get piled up again, that was bad!
So, my garage is full of stuff I purged and what doesn't get donated to local charities or sold at a garage sale will be hauled off to Good Will.
