Worst. Movie. Ever.
Total rip off from the worst book ever, but I never claimed to have original ideas!

The other night, we got "Dan in Real Life" from Netflix and it is the worst movie I have seen in a long time. We didn't even make it through the whole thing. It was painful to watch.
Anyone else have any new releases that I might want to avoid?Mom to two crazy boys

The Toy ro Toys
Whatever the one with Robin Williams was called. I really like Robin Williams movies but that one put me to sleep twice. (I thought maybe I was just tired the 1st time.

I kind of agree, I thought Dan in Real Life was mildly boring...not the best movie I've seen!
We actually haven't rented any movies lately, so I haven't seen anything not worth watching to warn you about!

I wasn't impressed with Atonement. I loved the book and expected the movie to be awesome...but.....not so much,.

I agree that Atonement was disappointing. Remeber Joe Black? with Brad Pitt. It was so boring I can't even remember the plot. Just remember that I couldn't finish it because it was so bad.

I haven't seen any movies. But I did rent Tod Sweeney on pay per view. I didn't know it was a musical. I much prefer the classic version. They changed it so much it really wasn't the same story.

~Apocolypto. I didn't watch it exactly but did see more than enough horrifying, violent scenes while passing through the living room and keeping the kids from seeing it to say that it's the worst movie ever.~

I liked Dan in real life. I thought it was a very touching story. I do agree that Atonement was very over rate. But you know everyone likes different kinds of movies or they wouldn't make so many different one. I have always thought that people get to caught up in what others say about a movie. I myself am a huge fan of Doris Day movies and masterpiece theater movies. My family thinks Doris Day is outdated and masterpiece is boring. Oh well, good thing we have two receivers.

Another vote for "Atonement" although I have to admit the book bored me silly as well. "The English Patient" snooze-a-rama (again both book and movie)
"Marathon Man", "Daddy Day Care" and let us not forget, my personal choice for all-time worst movie...."Meet the Feebles"
Of new releases on DVD "Golden Compass" was a huge disappointment. DH and I both loved the books (His Dark Materials trilogy) but the movie was so dumbed down, and some really crucial plot developments were changed and/or omitted that the movie was a complete waste of time. Momma, who has never read the books said "This is what ya'll kept bragging was such a good book? This is dull as all get-out"

Recently from the library we watched "The Weatherman" with Nick Cage, I didn't like it at all, boring, stupid, I also think there are others, just can't think of them right now, LOL, I am also a huge Doris Day movie watcher, I have them all, I don't watch Masterpiece Theater though, I prefer the books.
