Default Got the dvr upgrade today

Gripey had gotten a new tv the other day as the old big screen was wiggin' out and we weren't going to have it fixed again. SSsooooo we got a HD and then had to have the upgrade. All I can say is :surprise: Wow! The picture is soooooo good. It was not frugal, although we did shop around all day and saved about $400 or so by buying at Sam's but still not a frugal purchase at all. But I think we're gonna like it Now, to figure out the dvr......(I don't like to read instructions ).

I love my DVR!! We have had it for awhile now, it is so nice to be able to watch shows when I want and pause/rewind live tv. As for the HD tv thing. We got one back in November day after Thanksgiving for a steal! I can't live without it either.

Does the HD make that much difference. When I'm in the store, I can't tell a real difference. Is it the eyeglasses....am I too far away from the screen to see the difference?

I know how you all like your shows. I can just picture you sitting in your leather recliners just oohing & ahhing over your new toy. Enjoy!

We were watching tv in bed last nite (not HD) and we commented on how watching regular tv after watching HD feels like when you need glasses and your eyes are a little blurry.....then when you watch the hd it's like you got your glasses and you can see things crystal clear. Seriously it's a huge difference.
