Default Need recommendations on books to read about...

Animal Care & Pets (Cats & Dogs)

    Simple Living

    Living frugally

Jokes/Wit and Humor (I'm a fan of Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall)

Books similar to "Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children From Nature-Deficit Disorder " by Richard Louv Excellent book to read about children and nature

    Parenting and Families

    Child Care

I only read fiction books and I like those glossy books or books that have a lot of advice/tips/lists. Examples includes "Dogs for Dummies" or "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Puppies"

Here are three of my favorites on frugal living:
1.) Stories and Recipes of the Great Depression by Rita Amber-Contains many many frugal recipes for every imaginable thing. It will really help you save money in the food department.
2.) Smart Cents by Ron Moore
3.) Inflation Wise by Chris McLahlam

For pet care, I highly recommend "The Nature of Animal Healing" by Dr. Martin Goldstein D.V.M. Even if your pets are not ill, this book is an eye opener on pet food and diet.

We read this book when our 16-year old cat was diagnosed with kidney disease - we wish we had known these things a lot earlier. We now only feed our dogs home-cooked food or treats we are 110% sure are natural and safe.
