Default What is the scariest movie you have ever seen?

I wanted so badly to pick just one, but I actually need to list 4.

    1) The Blair Witch Project
There were two scenes in particular that scared the beans out of me.
    1. When there's only one guy and the one girl left in the tent and it's nighttime and they hear their missing friend screaming in agony and they know HE'S DEAD!
    2. The last scene, when they hear their buddy yelling again and they go down to the basement of the house and when the girl gets down there with her camera we see that the guy who was with her is standing in the corner.

    2) What Lies Beneath

    3) Jaws (I don't think I need to go into detail, LOL)

    4) The Ring

The scene that really spooked me was the one where Samara crawls through the TV screen. Eeeeeek!

I don't do horror movies, so I'd have to say my scariest is Arachnaphobia. I own it and every time I watch it (only during daylight hours) it gives me the hee bee gee bees!

    Stopped watching them after that.

Any Saw movie, I can't watch. Most scary movies don't really bother me but these do. Not a fan of chainsaw movies either. shudder.

I don't do scary movies much. But I think, even worse than the gory movies was Signs!

Dh and I watched it with all the lights off. I couldn't tear myself away, and by the end, I had to pee so bad, but I was scared to death to walk down our hallway to the bathroom becuase the whole house was dark!

I have to agree with "The Ring". The part when the little boy turns to the mom in shock and says "You mean you helped her?" That's when you know its not over.... Oh, and of course when she crawls out of the t.v. I have a t.v. in my bedroom and sometime in the dark I look at it, feeling a little freaked out.

I LOVE scary movies and watch them all the time. I think for me, the scariest are those that "could" really happen. The original Halloween scared the bejabbers out of me because I could picture it happening.

I have never seen The Ring , but now I want too.

For me the scariest movies are ones that could actually happen.

I agree with the ring...I love that movie.

Also, White Noise. That movie will have you freaking out every time the cable goes out on the TV!
