    Smile Any Harvest Moon Players?

~I absolutely love my HM games. I never get tired of running my little farm and raising my cute little critters. I still have the Nintendo 64 version, Magical Melody for GC, Rune Factory for DS, and Cute for DS. I sold the Mineral Town version for GC. It just wasn't as good as the others. Does anyone else play?~

I absolutely LOVE the Harvest Moon games. My favorite so far has been the one for the SNES, just good ol' Harvest Moon. What a wonderful game, colorful, cheerful, no violence, etc.

Constance, I have to admit, I'd never heard of Harvest Moon until your post. So, I googled it and it sounds like such a neat game! I may have to look into this further!!!

I don't like the DS version, but thats cause I don't like the DS or the other handheld games. But I have enjoyed several of the console versions, and am waiting for the Wii version to come out!

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I used to play this on N64 and loved it except when my greenhouse blew away. I'm not sure if we still have the game or not.

My kids have this for their Nintendo DS's, and I haven't played it, but I have played Animal Crossing for their Gamecube (which they've said is very similar). That was a fun game

Animal Crossing? Did someone say Animal Crossing?! Love it! Just earned the golden axe actually.

One of my friends loves Harvest Moon and tries to get me into it.

~Congrats on the axe! It's a little annoying getting the trees just right and keeping the weeds down to get that. But now you can unlimited landscaping fun!~

Yeah, it was definitely a pain. I didn't feel like trying for it anymore after I hit perfect once and then had to leave town. But once I got it again I just played for like 15 minutes each to check the status and pull weeds. Yay! I'm re-doing the trees so I have palm trees along the shore and distinct apple, orange, peach, cherry, and pear orchards, and then areas of forest.

We haven't played in so long that I bet everyone has moved away because weeds have taken over the town :laughinghard:

~I'll bet they're cranky at least! I got the ghost to pull weeds for me a few times but right now I forget what you actually do to get him to do that. Hmmm...~
