Swingtown?
Anyone here watching Swingtown on CBS? I have to admit, when they first started running the previews for it I thought it looked rather corny ~ and it is. But I am 100% sucked in to it! Really didn't see that comin'
Anyone else?~Jessica

Um. No.
I don't even like seeing the previews (that they play in the middle of a FAMILY show
).

I too do not care for this show! I have never watched it, however, the previews alone were enough to make me say, "No Thanks"!!!

Yes, I LOVE this show, at least so far. I thought it was going to tick me off, for complete opposite reasons the previous people mentioned, I'm sure, lol. But I'm glad they're dealing with the difficulties, emotions, etc. Really, as I'm sure some people might surmise from the previews, it's honestly not about swinging *really*. It's just the backdrop in a show about relationships and friendships and our sense of self at different times in our lives (the youngest just trying on relationships, the teenager trying to mature, and the seasoned adults in various types of marriages.) I dunno, I'm just always really IN to relationships and the psychosociology of different time periods; this show is nicely done.
It seems to really embody what I've heard about the 70s. We've noticed, the guys are erm kinda more jerky, the adults and kids have totally separate lives, everything looks really authentic. I even got my mom into watching it. She was 19 in 1976.
It's *That 70's Show* for grown ups. This was what was going on at Donna's parents house, lol.

HA! Janie you hit the nail on teh head!
The show does have some sexual undertones, but its really done tastefully and I love that its focus is more on the dynamics of the various relationships.~Jessica

Jamauk, you are right, maybe I should have just said...
I have not watched this show! I guess I just have no interest in watching due to the nature (previews on television I have seen) of the show!

Yeah I totally don't agree with the whole lifestyle, but the show itself is really not that bad...

I love this show.......I almost didn't watch it because of the previews, but I am glad I did try it out. I think they are handling it all very well and it isn't as bad as people make it out to be.
