I watch every week ~ well, I DVR it and watch it on Monday without the commericials.
I really don't like any of them but I think Shane or Kesley will win.
Lisa posts sometimes in the comments section at Food Network Addict if you are interested.Nancy

We just started watching it this past weekend and we are trying to catch up. I don't know who will win just yet as we want to watch them in order if we can.
The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.
Onboard with a modified Dave Ramsey Plan
Budget: "Every month! On paper, on purpose!"
Gardening somewhere between Zone 6b and 7a.

I should have posted that we can discuss spoilers in this thread

Maybe I'll start another so I can talk to people who watch it when it airs. I'm about to bust a gut with what I want to say right now

Cooking is my passion...so I love this show. I can hardly wait for Sunday nights to arrive.

I went and read who got booted because I don't have the time to watch the show right now, and, without giving anything away ~ I am royally PO'd that one particular contestant is STILL there and that you-know-who got the boot. Of those left, I'm not sure I'd watch a show with any of them.
Lisa is ranting over at food network addict ~ or rather she ranted to the owner of the blog and he reported her ranting
I am really preferring Hell's Kitchen this year to TNFNS

Lisa has grown on me. Kelsey is far too bubbly for me LOL
I like the dark haired guy (can't remember his name), but they say that he can't cook well. His personality is right on though, IMO

***7/6/08 SPOILER ALERT***
I wonder what type of show FN is looking to do? (I suspect they already have a target audience in mind, and they're using editing to steer the viewer towards a certain contestant.) I like Lisa's POV because I enjoy cooking an occasional gourmet meal. I disliked her at first, but her cooking skills have won me over. I'd watch a show with Aaron for innovative everyday recipes, and Adam would entertain me with a "Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives" type show. The only person I can't see myself watching is Kelsey. She seems nice, but a little too perky. I'm also not interested in a show that is geared towards beginner cooks.
7/6/08 show: I thought Aaron was absolutely adorable with Michaela! I loved how he included her, and seemingly made her feel so special. The Food Network edited Lisa's performance to make her look more scattered than she really was. (The entire clip is on RR's site.) I agree with the elimination of Shane. He had a nervous energy about him, and he didn't do a very good job of engaging Rachel, or poor little ignored Francesca. (Although the reasoning for eliminating him was somewhat lame..."Never been to France? You're outta here!")

CONTINUED SPOILER ALERT
I'm not sure that they have a direction for a show in mind...after all, last year's winner, Amy, had a change of heart and didn't sign a new contract even though she had good ratings and nobody has stepped in to take over that show ~ and I really liked the premise of the gourmet next door.
I think Adam should have gone before Shane. Adam couldn't even cook eggs and he embarrasses himself more often than not. Shane was just young but he could cook. I like Lisa much more than I did at the beginning and I like Aaron. Kelsey is waaaaaaaaay too perky for me.
Honestly, I think I would watch a show once and that's probably it.Nancy

I should have worded it better. I don't really think they have a specific show in mind. I just wonder if they have a general idea of what they want, and they're editing towards that. (I'm too cynical, I know...LOL.) You're right about Adam's cooking skills. I doubt I'd take him seriously on a true cooking show, but I think he'd be entertaining as an interviewer. (Kind of like Guy Fieri.)

I was so wondering what happened to Amy. I really did like her.
This year is a little weird because I really have enjoyed a few of them and I don't have a favorite. I agree with the Adam thing. I was surprised that Shane got cut.
I like Lisa too. I just wish she wouldn't cry on every show. lol
I'm so hooked!
