Cool Big Brother 10 Discussion Thread **SPOILERS**

If you are behind on the shows, and do not want to know what happens, skip this thread

Okay so last night was the first show. I like a lot of the characters, and yes they did get a good mix of people.

Jerry, the 74 yr old guy seems sweet. I don't think he'll make it too far once he needs to rely on physical challenges to get him through. Oh, and if I were his wife I would be really ticked off that he squeezed that girls' chest. C'mon now. It seemed like he was trying to fit in with the younger crowd by doing that.

Remy, if I hear her say "Lighten up" one more time, I'm going to scream. And as Amy said in the other thread...same thing with the body builder guy saying that he was worried he would be a target because of his body.

This looks like it will be a good season

I think the houseguests are underestimating Jerry completely, Marines are tough as nails and I think he's one that definitely still has that tough mentality. He won't go down without a fight!

I was surprised by how 'ordinary' most of the contestants look. I mean you do have the girl with the heavy chest, the body builder and the other blonde that reminds me of Danielle from season before last....but otherwise....

I liked how Jerry put the 2 nominees up....made perfect sense to let the house decide about the friction (although he was manipulated into doing so or so it made it look as if he were). It should be a good season, I think.

Oh, that Renny already makes me want to poke my own eyes out, I hope she gets the boot quick

Would you believe I missed the first 45 min of it? I was the one who forgot it was on, lol.
From the 15 min I saw, ya that Renny lady is enough to make ya go nuts. Everytime I looked at her she looked different and that voice, man.

You can watch it on www.cbs.com

And off topic, but I can't stand that they don't caption it more. The house guests talk so softly sometimes that I miss what they're saying--and it's the most strategic stuff too.

Ya just finished watching it, yep that Renny is as annoying as all get out. Wow, can't believe the boob fondling right off the bat. Some cute guys.

Oh yeah, Renny is highly annoying. I saw her commercial and had a feeling she'd be that way. Of course, it usually seems like the obnoxious ones wind up staying a while because people don't feel they're a threat- they keep saying "we'll get rid of xxx next week, but right now zzz is more of a threat".

Totally agree that Renny is annoying!!! But there is always at least one who is.

I like Jerry and think the others will underestimate his ability to play the mental games. I do think he will have some problems with the physical challenges though.

I've not picked a favorite yet but like y'all think the mix is good this year.

I read today that this season will air on Sundays at 8:00, Tuesday at 9, and Wednesday at 8.

    I also read this online:

A live audience will also be present during the live eviction episodes on Wednesdays. This is the first time since Big Brother 1 that an audience will be present for the live weekly eviction shows.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Brother_10_(U.S.)

My horrible memory doesn't remember the first season with the audiences present for the evictions.

I thought it was a great episode. Renny is so strange! "lighten up" ugh! I don't like passive/agressive people either. If you've got something to say say it to their face. And she seems pretty passive/agressive. I can't wait for more episodes!!

I thought that was too funny! His wife is prolly thinking that after 54 years of marriage he can squeeze someone else's as long as it gives her a rest....and as long as he brings home the million!

What an interesting turn of events. I am glad that they put up Brian. He came out scheming wayyyy too early in the game.

I wish they hadn't spent so much time on the POV competition. It seemed like it took up most of the show.

I need to remember that it's on Wednesdays this season vs. Thursdays.

So glad that they put up Brian. Hate having to watch Renny for another week, but Brian was so cocky in his DR sessions. Thinking he was the master manipulator...in your FACE, Bri!

He really did think he was all that and I'm sorry he played it that way.
After reading some of the behind the scenes stuff at various sites, I'm kinda sad to see him go. He is a pretty funny guy and it will be kinda boring with him gone. He and a few other bb members put on a puppet show that was hilarious. They really made fun of a couple hg's, especially Renny, I had tears coming down. She and many others weren't there to see it. Brian was made fun of too and he really was a good sport about it.
