Question What are you reading (end) July/August?

I am flying through the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. I started reading my first at the end of May, and I'm on #8 in the series now (Hard Eight). I'd be even further along if I wasn't also reading other stuff at the same time

So what are you reading these days?

I've been reading the Twilight series. Love them! Totally not written for my age group, but I'm enjoying them immensely. A friend of mine and I are going to Barnes and Noble at midnight on Thursday night for the release of the 4th book.

I'm not reading anything right now, it seems like forever since I read a book. I'm going to the beach week after next and I would love to take a book or two. Do you have any recommendations? I like all types, mysteries, historical, suspense, biographies-as long as it is about people and has an interesting story line.

I'm currently reading Interview with a Vampire by Ann Rice. I really want to read the Stephanie Plum series though. I think I'll go to the library this weekend and see if i can find them there.

I like anything by Elizabeth Berg or Maeve Binchy. Also the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.

I've been reading like crazy. A couple of books I just finished were Suspicious River (kinda weird, didn't really like it), Cathederal of the Sea (loved it!), The Nanny Diaries (sad and funny at the same time), Miserly Moms (good!). I brought a book called Favored Child by Phillippa Gregory today.

    Michelle,
The Twilight Series is about this 17 year old girl who falls in love with a vampire, but he's a good vampire...no people killing. Throughout the series, she also falls in love with her best friend who is a werewolf. It sounds absolutely absurd to describe, but it is so well written, you are absolutely able to suspend your disbelief and fall in love with the characters. There is really no violence, no sex and it's just been a great read.

I'm literally able to think of nothing else sometimes, because I've become emotionally involved in the storyline. The book that comes out tonight wraps it all up and I have to be honest...I'm a little sad that it will be over! Luckily, I'm not alone...two other teacher friends of mine are in the same boat and are going to the store with me tonight. We just started reading them because we like to know what our students are reading and these sucked us right in!!!
